User Agreement

This User Agreement ("Agreement") governs your use of the 2Swap platform, including our website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Platform"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by this Agreement, our Terms of Service, and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to this Agreement. You also agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

2. User Conduct

As a user, you agree to:

• Use the Platform in a respectful and lawful manner.
• Not engage in harassment, abuse, or discrimination against other users.
• Provide accurate and truthful information in your profile and swap listings.
• Respect the intellectual property and privacy of other users and 2Swap.

3. Swapping Responsibilities

The Platform enables users to swap items with others in their community. You agree to:

• List items that are safe, legal, and in the condition described.
• Communicate clearly and promptly with other users to arrange swaps.
• Meet in safe, public locations for in-person swaps, unless otherwise agreed.
• Resolve any disputes with other users amicably and in good faith.

2Swap is not a party to any swap and is not responsible for the outcome of transactions between users.

4. Prohibited Activities

You may not:

• List or swap prohibited items, including but not limited to illegal goods, hazardous materials, or counterfeit items.
• Use the Platform to solicit money, services, or other non-swap transactions.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
• Use automated tools to scrape data or manipulate the Platform.
• Engage in any activity that disrupts or harms the Platform or its users.

5. Content Ownership and Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content you post, including item descriptions, photos, and messages. By posting content, you grant 2Swap a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and store that content to operate the Platform. You warrant that your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights.

6. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. This includes:

• Using a strong password and keeping it confidential.
• Not sharing your account with others.
• Notifying us immediately at support@2swap.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

7. Community Guidelines

To foster a positive and safe community, you agree to follow our guidelines:

• Treat all users with respect and courtesy.
• Provide honest feedback and ratings after swaps.
• Report any suspicious or inappropriate behavior to 2Swap.
• Contribute to a sustainable and inclusive swapping culture.

8. Termination and Suspension

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate this Agreement or engage in behavior that harms the Platform or its users. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.

9. Liability and Disclaimers

2Swap provides the Platform "as is" and does not guarantee the success of swaps or the behavior of users. We are not liable for:

• Losses or damages arising from swaps or interactions with other users.
• Inaccuracies in user-provided content.
• Technical issues or interruptions in Platform availability.

10. Modifications to the Agreement

We may update this Agreement periodically. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Agreement.

11. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with our Terms of Service dispute resolution process.
